Sometimes we think we have all the time in the world to get right with God, but life keeps showing just how untrue that can be.
You can be in the best physical health, you can see the best doctors money can buy, you can feel like you’re gonna live forever, but the truth is this–
EVERYONE has an expiration date.
I don’t say that to be ugly or to scare you. I say that because it’s true.
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die…” –Ecclesiastes 3:1-2
That said, if you were to take your last breath today, where would your eternal destination be?
(Really think about this because it’s too important to gamble on your eternity).
If you want your destination to be Heaven, if you want to spend your eternity with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, you don’t have to make it complicated.
Romans 10:9-11 says,
“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”
You ask, believe, and receive. And we that believe in Him will NEVER be put to shame.
It’s just that simple.
Let’s pray:
Dear Lord Jesus,
I come to you in faith, believing that you are the Son of God and that you died on the cross for my sins. I confess with my mouth that you are Lord and I believe in my heart that God raised you from the dead. I repent of my sins and ask for your forgiveness.
Please come into my heart, be my Savior, and make me a new creation. I surrender my life to you, and I invite you to lead and guide me from this day forward. Thank you for your love, grace, and the gift of salvation.
In your precious name, I pray.
