Can I be honest?
I’m in another life slump. I get in these sometimes and it takes awhile to get back on track….
I have no idea why God wouldn’t just give up on me by now.
I would. But He won’t.
I know this is random, but I find it odd in the story of Adam and Eve that when they messed up, God chose to cover them. Yeah, they had some consequences for their actions, but He’s God. He could’ve started over. He could’ve turned them back to dust. He could’ve recreated a perfect being in their place. But He didn’t.
He didn’t.
A lot of times I think something is wrong with me. After all this time of knowing about God, I still make the same mistakes, fall trap to the same mind struggles, life struggles, and just struggles period. I just flat out have a mistrust of God’s plan for my life.
That’s the problem though.
It’s time to truly buckle down and know God.
Knowing about him ain’t enough.
Why won’t He just turn me back to dust and start over?
Why does He still show grace and mercy and love towards us?
Why does He choose to cover me over and over and over again?
Because He loves us. Because He sees what we can’t see in ourselves. And it’s amazing that such a great God could make His agenda happen on His own, but He chooses to use broken, messed up, jacked up people to reach others so we can get saved and fall in love with the One Who loved us first.

Keep loving me God. Don’t give up on me.
